2 July 2007 IT COMPANY FINDS ECO-OFFICE SOLUTION
Shrewsbury Environmental Technology Centre has announced another letting for its new sustainable office development – Information Solutions Ltd.
Information Solutions Ltd is among one of the first information technology companies in Britain to become carbon neutral and provide a full range of high quality IT support to business in and around the West Midlands.
“We believe that Information Technology has a big role to play in the environment from monitoring energy usage to its intelligent management, and the Pump House is a great place to collaborate in these technologies” said Nathan Bensley-Edwards, Managing Director.
Alongside traditional IT support services Information Solutions can help businesses reduce their carbon footprint and save money by reducing unnecessary travel through intelligent use of IT and telecoms to facilitate seamless home/office.
Assisted by their business neighbours and clients, The Marches Energy Agency, they have committed to offset the firm’s carbon footprint.
Speaking about the new company letting, David Griffiths, Destination Shrewsbury Manager, commented:
“It’s great to attract such an environmental IT company to the centre. We were so impressed with the company that we asked them to design our new website www.pump-house.com and are very pleased with the results”
